“Today, I voted for H.R. 22, the Congressional Budget Justification Transparency Act, because Americans should be able to easily access and understand how their hard-earned tax dollars are spent. It is unacceptable that Congress’ budget justifications are difficult to find, let alone understand. This bill will ensure Americans have straightforward and clear explanations for how the federal government spends its money. Americans deserve full transparency.”
