Appropriations Request

Thank you for your interest in appropriations programmatic and language requests for FY 2026. At this time, earmark requests will not be considered. 

Our office is currently accepting programmatic and language appropriations requests:

  • Programmatic requests are funding requests for a specific federal program at a specified level.
  • Language requests are for bill or report language intended to encourage or direct an agency to take—or refrain from taking—certain actions.

(As defined by the Congressional Research Service: “Programmatic requests are to fund a program in the bill or report at a specified level. Language requests are for specific bill or report language that is intended to encourage or direct some action be taken—or not taken—by an agency.”)

Please note: Our office is not accepting requests for Community Project Funding (commonly referred to as “earmarks”). These requests typically involve provisions that:

  1. Provide or recommend a specific amount of funding to a particular entity or locality, and
  2. Are included primarily at the request of a Member of Congress.
