Appropriations Request

Programmatic and language request submissions have closed for FY2026. Please check back next year for requests for FY2027.
Our office is currently accepting programmatic and language appropriations requests:
- Programmatic requests are funding requests for a specific federal program at a specified level.
- Language requests are for bill or report language intended to encourage or direct an agency to take—or refrain from taking—certain actions.
(As defined by the Congressional Research Service: “Programmatic requests are to fund a program in the bill or report at a specified level. Language requests are for specific bill or report language that is intended to encourage or direct some action be taken—or not taken—by an agency.”)
Please note: Our office is not accepting requests for Community Project Funding (commonly referred to as “earmarks”). These requests typically involve provisions that:
- Provide or recommend a specific amount of funding to a particular entity or locality, and
- Are included primarily at the request of a Member of Congress.
