WASHINGTON, D.C. — Today, Congresswoman Kat Cammack joined Congressman Ronny Jackson (TX-13) and 82 colleagues in sending a letter to President Joe Biden demanding that he take a cognitive exam. The letter calls on the Cabinet to swiftly begin the process for invoking the 25th Amendment if President Biden is unwilling or unable to sit for an assessment. Jackson's letter follows four previous letters sent urging President Biden to take a cognitive exam, which have all been ignored.

Human Trafficking Awareness Training Act

WASHINGTON, D.C. — Today, Congresswoman Kat Cammack (R-FL-03) introduced the Human Trafficking Awareness Training Act, a bill that expands the availability of the Federal Law Enforcement Training Centers' (FLETC) human trafficking awareness training courses to state, local, tribal, territorial, and educational institution law enforcement agencies.
 
The bill recognizes the importance of FLETC's training programs for first responders and their use in recognizing and properly responding to potential human trafficking situations.

GAINESVILLE, FL — Today, Congresswoman Kat Cammack announced the City of Ocala received a $104,000 grant from the Safe Streets and Roads for All (SS4A) program. The SS4A program funds regional, local, and tribal initiatives through grants to prevent roadway deaths and serious injuries. 
 
The City of Ocala will use the grant to conduct supplemental planning to develop a city-wide Local Road Safety Plan (LRSP) and a Speed Management Plan targeting safer speeds in residential areas and around schools.
