Internships

Congresswoman Kat Cammack (FL-03) offers spring, summer, and fall internships in her Washington, D.C. and Gainesville, FL offices! 

Applications for fall internships are due by Friday, July 25, 2025, for our Washington, D.C. office, and by Friday, August 8, 2025, for our Gainesville and Ocala offices.

Washington, D.C. Internship Information:

Intern responsibilities will vary, including giving tours of the U.S. Capitol, answering phones, researching legislation, attending committee hearings, and aiding various staff projects. Ideal candidates have a strong work ethic, effective communication skills, a positive attitude, and know how to take initiative. Undergraduate and recent college graduates are preferred. Academic credit is available for qualifying students. *Please note: internships are in-person and require candidates to relocate to Washington, D.C. for the duration of the program.

Gainesville & Ocala, FL Internship Information:

Intern responsibilities will vary, including answering phones, processing constituent mail, assisting with constituent services, and helping office staff with various projects. Ideal candidates have a strong work ethic, effective communication skills, a positive attitude, and know how to take initiative. Undergraduate and recent college graduates are preferred. Academic credit is available for qualifying students. Internships are in-person and take place at the Gainesville and Ocala District Offices.
