Congresswoman Cammack Joins Panel To Discuss Women In Public Life & Honor St. Brigid

WASHINGTON, D.C. — This week, Congresswoman Kat Cammack (FL-03) joined Irish Ambassador Geraldine Byrne NasonNBC News Senior White House Correspondent Kelly O'Donnell, and fellow Bipartisan Women’s Caucus Co-Chair Congresswoman Susie Lee for a conversation about women in public life ahead of St. Brigid's Day on February 1st

St. Brigid's Day honors Ireland's only female patron saint and is an opportunity to celebrate the accomplishment of women both in Ireland and the Irish diaspora. This year, the historical relic of St. Brigid will be returned to her hometown of Kildare for the first time in 1,500 years. 

The group discussed the importance of women's leadership in government and the work the Bipartisan Women's Caucus does to create and improve opportunities for women nationwide. This event was the first official Women's Caucus event with an ambassador since 2019.
