Congresswoman Kat Cammack Issues Statement On The Continuing Resolution (H.R. 5305) Vote
WASHINGTON, D.C. – Last night, Congresswoman Kat Cammack issued the following statement on her vote against H.R. 5305, the continuing resolution to extend FY2021 appropriations through December.
"This evening's vote on H.R. 5305, the continuing resolution to extend government funding through December, was easy to oppose. This bill is nothing but a blank check for Speaker Pelosi and the liberal Left," Congresswoman Cammack said. "It opens the door to $3.5T in new spending while our country struggles with the crisis in Afghanistan, the disastrous border surge, and levels of inflation we haven't seen in years. This is a tax increase on all Americans. This bill helps fund the hyper-liberal, tax-and-spend policies that we've come to expect from this administration. One thing's for sure: the American people are sick and tired of the endless spending that sets our future generations up for failure."
