Rep. Cammack Leads Bipartisan Breast Cancer Awareness Month Press Conference

WASHINGTON, D.C. — Today, Rep. Cammack led a press conference for Breast Cancer Awareness Month. 

As a co-chair of the Congressional Bipartisan Women's Caucus, Rep. Cammack convened over a dozen lawmakers for press conference recognizing October as National Breast Cancer Awareness Month. The speakers discussed the importance of screenings for women in at-risk categories and over the age of 40. 

Breast cancer accounts for nearly one-third of new cancer diagnoses for American women, for a total of 240,000+ new cases each year. 

Women's health remains a top priority for the Bipartisan Women's Caucus and more briefings and press conferences are scheduled for the rest of the year.
