"Read To Lead" Book Program

Read To Lead

Read To Lead is a literacy initiative launched by Congresswoman Kat Cammack to help encourage a lifelong love of reading among elementary school-aged children throughout Florida’s Third Congressional District!

Through this program, books made available through the Library of Congress Surplus Program are provided to young readers in our communities. Congresswoman Cammack and her team are proud to work alongside local community leaders, schools, teachers, and other organizations to help put more books into the hands of children and make reading more accessible and exciting for students across the district.

We believe that access to books can open doors to new ideas, strengthen foundational literacy skills, spark creativity and imagination, and help children develop a lasting love of learning. By partnering with those who work directly with students and families, Read To Lead aims to reach more young readers and support the important work already being done in classrooms and communities throughout Florida’s Third District.

Please note that Read To Lead is intended for residents and organizations located within Florida’s Third Congressional District. If you are not a resident of Florida’s Third District, we encourage you to reach out to your own Member of Congress to ask whether a similar literacy or book distribution program is available in your congressional district.
