WASHINGTON, D.C. — Congresswoman Kat Cammack (R-FL-03) and U.S. Senator Marsha Blackburn (R-TN) introduced legislation to ensure human and drug traffickers cannot continue to defraud the American taxpayer while they await prosecution and conviction. The bill, "Stop Taxpayer Funding of Traffickers Act," comes after several visits to the border over the last two years by Congresswoman Cammack, Senator Blackburn, and their colleagues.

The Committee on Energy and Commerce, established in the 1795, is the oldest standing legislative committee in the U.S. House of Representatives and is vested with the broadest jurisdiction of any congressional authorizing committee.
WASHINGTON, D.C. — Today, Representative Kat Cammack (R-FL) announced the reintroduction of the Born-Alive Abortion Survivors Protection Act, with House Majority Leader Steve Scalise (R-LA) and Representative Ann Wagner (R-MO) joining as original cosponsors. The Born-Alive Act ensures that infants born alive after an attempted abortion receive the same protection of law and degree of care as any newborn.
