WASHINGTON, D.C.—Today, Congresswoman Kat Cammack was selected by the House Republican Steering Committee to serve on the Energy and Commerce Committee for the 118th Congress. The Committee on Energy and Commerce, established in the 1795, is the oldest standing legislative committee in the U.S. House of Representatives and is vested with the broadest jurisdiction of any congressional authorizing committee.
WASHINGTON, D.C. — Today, Representative Kat Cammack (R-FL) announced the reintroduction of the Born-Alive Abortion Survivors Protection Act, with House Majority Leader Steve Scalise (R-LA) and Representative Ann Wagner (R-MO) joining as original cosponsors. The Born-Alive Act ensures that infants born alive after an attempted abortion receive the same protection of law and degree of care as any newborn.
