JACKSONVILLE, FL — Today, Congresswoman Kat Cammack (R-FL-03) joined officials at JAXPORT for a tour of the cargo and cruise facilities, shipping operations and harbor deepening project.
Cammack met with leadership at JAXPORT before speaking with members of the media about her visit and its importance to her role on the House Homeland Security Committee. The congresswoman also got an exclusive look at the port's harbor deepening project, meant to attract larger ships and more commercial opportunities to the region.

GAINESVILLE, FL – Today, Congresswoman Kat Cammack announced the award of $1,342,724 from the U.S. Department of Transportation to St. Johns Ship Building in Putnam County, Florida to support the construction of a 2,000-ton drydock.
