GAINESVILLE, FL — Today, Congresswoman Kat Cammack begins her Central Floria Agriculture Tour with stops in Umatilla and Mount Dora, Florida. With the 2023 Farm Bill in development during this first session of the 118th Congress, Rep. WASHINGTON, D.C.—Today, Congresswoman Kat Cammack voted in support of H.R. 5, the Parents Bill of Rights, which codifies parents' rights to have a voice in their children's education. The legislation, introduced by Rep. Julia Letlow (R-LA-05), requires public school districts to provide parents access to curricula for students, as well as reading lists and materials available in school libraries.

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Today, U.S. Reps. Kat Cammack (R-FL-03) and Anna G. Eshoo (D-CA-16) reintroduced the Understanding Cybersecurity of Mobile Networks Act, bipartisan legislation that requires the National Telecommunications and Information Administration to submit to Congress a comprehensive report examining the cybersecurity of existing wireless networks (2G, 3G, and 4G) and vulnerabilities to cyberattacks and surveillance by adversaries.

GAINESVILLE, FL — Today, Congresswoman Kat Cammack announced the North Central Florida Regional Planning Council's Economic Development District Planning award from the Economic Development Administration (EDA). With an investment of $210,000, the grant establishes an economic development planning framework, process, and strategy that supports private capital investment and job creation in the region served by the North Central Florida Regional Planning Council.

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Today, Congresswoman Kat Cammack (FL-03) announced Ocala Fire Rescue's (OFR) 'Assistance To Firefighters' Grant (AFG) award from the Department of Homeland Security's (DHS) Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA). The department will receive $381,150 to improve its operations and safety, including using the grant for new protective equipment.
The Assistance to Firefighters Grant is one of three grant programs administered by DHS and FEMA to enhance the safety of the public and firefighters with respect to fire and related hazards.
