Frivolous Claims
Frivolous claims create backlog in the claims and appeals process. Frivolous claims, in nature, are not statutory or factual. It isn’t uncommon for our service officers to receive frivolous claims from individuals and groups that can’t be supported by law, evidence, or facts.
Thank you to our service officers that continue to do a good job in representing the veterans in District Three despite receiving faulty, frivolous claims and appeals.
If you’re interested in reading more, please read 38 CFR 14.633: https://www.law.cornell.edu/cfr/text/38/14.633
BOTTOM LINE: To avoid conflict and assist veterans, the best pathway is to submit a FULLY DEVELOPED CLAIM and provide all pertinent information up front.
